The UK has a world-renowned education sector, which boasts several leading Universities in the world and welcomes many high potential students to further their education. The Graduate path allows overseas students who have received their degree to stay in the UK for two years and engage or seek employment at any skill level or three years for doctorate students.
You do not need an offer of employment to qualify for the Graduate route because it is not a sponsored route. Overseas students who have achieved an undergraduate degree or above in a reputable higher education institution with a proven history of compliance, and who have a legitimate Tier 4 or Student visa at the time of application are eligible for the graduate route.
Except for allowed study abroad programmes or online learning owing to COVID-19, for which particular exceptions have been granted, you must have finished your whole course as a student in the UK. As the candidates have previously demonstrated English language proficiency by the successful completion of the course at a UK university, so no need to demonstrate English skill requirements. The applicant must have obtained the qualification listed on the Student (or Tier 4) visa’s Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).
The Graduate route application fee is £700 (for both two and three-year Graduate route applications), plus the Immigration Health Surcharge must be paid as part of the application process. Dependants also need to pay the application fees and the immigration health surcharge. The application can only be submitted once the university has released the course results. The applicant must be in the UK whilst waiting for the decision, if the Applicant is not in the UK then it will lead to the rejection of the application. Furthermore, application expenses are not guaranteed to be reimbursed if rejected.

The procedure will be digital for the large proportion of applicants, and if your application is approved, you will be awarded an eVisa. You will begin your request at GOV.UK, where you will open a UK Visas and Immigration account and validate your identification using the ‘UK Immigration ID Check’ app. If you applied through the digital method, you will be able to examine your immigration status (eVisa) and prove your rights in the UK as soon as you receive news on your Graduate route application.
